We develop and study novel methodologies and techniques for positron emission tomography (PET) and computed tomography (CT) [PET/CT] as well as simultaneous positron emission tomography (PET) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) [PET/MRI].

Image Reconstruction and Data Modeling

By developing and applying improved models for measured data, better images can be reconstructed. Additionally, by incorporating physiological information into dynamic data, new quantitative information can be obtained.

RF Coil Design

We develop new capabilities for magnetic resonance by developing improved radiofrequency (RF) coils for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Machine Learning and Deep Learning

New algorithmic approaches applying machine learning and deep learning are sweeping the medical imaging field. We are utilizing these techniques to improve the capability of medical imaging.
